The App Manager shows no apps, or every app shows no size

App sizes and last-used dates come from Android's usage statistics, which need the optional usage access permission. Grant it from the banner inside the App Manager screen, or from Android Settings under usage access. Until you do, the app shows nothing rather than made-up figures.

The scan found far less than I expected

The scan only sees the storage you've given it access to. If you granted a single folder rather than your wider storage, that folder is all it looks at. Re-open the permissions step, grant broader file access, then run the scan again.

My photos and videos aren't appearing

Media features need photo library permission. If it was declined during setup, Android won't re-prompt automatically. Open the app's entry in Android Settings, enable photo and video access, then reopen StoragePilot.

Storage is still nearly full after cleaning

Junk files are usually a smaller share of a full phone than people expect. The big categories are almost always photos, videos and apps. Check the storage breakdown on the dashboard to see where the space actually went, then point the duplicate finder, screenshot cleaner and app manager at whichever category is genuinely large.

Can I undo a deletion?

No. Deletions are permanent, which is exactly why every destructive action asks for confirmation and shows what it will remove first. If a file matters to you, copy it somewhere safe before deleting.

Similar Photos didn't group the photos I expected

Similar Photos compares capture time, image dimensions and file size. Two photos of the same thing taken minutes apart, or at different resolutions, won't group together, because nothing here is analysing the image itself. That trade-off is deliberate: it keeps the whole thing on your device with no model to download. For byte-identical copies, use the Duplicate Photo Finder instead.

The scan seems slow on a large library

Scan time scales with how many files you have. The app deliberately works in small batches and lets the interface respond between them, so it stays usable rather than freezing. Leave it running and it reports progress as it goes.
